ARTS AND CRAFT CLUB

This club is created to welcome my follow friends in Foundation In Arts to join me in exploring the nature of arts.An awesome art product does not need expensive material whereas it can be made up of simple material.For example,unwanted papers,recycled papers,magazines and even tissue paper would the best material for it.

A SHORT STORY ABOUT US

          HI,my name is Zhi Wei.My friends in primary school often called me with a nickname 'Origami-holic'.Well , this is because I am fanatic in paper folding and making arts and craft.Origami and Kirigami are my favourite.I met my buddies in my primary school ,Vannessa,Joanne Lai,Ai Leng and Pei Jia.They have the same interest and hobbies as mine so we have become a group of students who are obsessed in arts and craft in school. Origami is introduced in Japan long time ago when Japanese likes to fold a piece of paper into a figure or sculpture.We were impressed with their creativity in changing a simple piece of paper into something creative.There is when we started to search for tutorials and learn how to make it.In our secondary school life,we started to be interested in more of the Japanese arts and craft.And we did find out about Japanese Kirigami.Kirigami is known as paper cuttings where a paper can be cut in different ways to form a pop up architecture building and even greeting cards.
